VCHS Varsity Track and Field...Saturday, April 17th, Bay Area Conference

Our team of 5 did an awesome job!  Everone improved upoin their times from the last meet.

Girls:
Kanami Tobe won her 100M heat(14.45), 16th overall won her 200M race (30.04), 19 overall

Erina Sadawa took 5 seconds off her season's best time in the 800M to take 7th with a time of 3:07.51.  Placed 22 overall

Jordan Lee; 100 M 3rd in heat (15.81, 41st overall; 200M 6th in heat (33.82), 39th overall


Boys:
Anthony Grant: won his 200M heat (24.65), 7th overall and placed 5th in his 400 M heat (57.76) and 20th overall

Eeron Grant: won his 400M heat (54.52), 5th overall; and placed 6th in his 200 M (25.01)  heat and 11th overall.

We took first place in 5 different heats -(although there were no first places for the overall meet.)

Erina Sadawa ran a gutsy 800 meters, where she lead the race until the last 100.  (A little more training will fix that!)

Even injured Jordan Lee proceeded to race herself into shape in in both the 100 and the 200.
